Dr. Garcia was born on the beautiful island of Cuba, but was raised in Miami, FL. Some of Dr. Garcia’s hobbies include boating, fishing, cooking and spending time with family. You just may even catch him on nice stroll with Bimini, his precious miniature schnauzer.
After graduating High School Dr. Garcia decided to attend FIU where he obtained his Bachelor of Sciences in Biology. After he obtained his BS at FIU he headed to Nova Southeastern University where he obtained his Doctorate of Dental Medicine. Following graduation he set sail to the University of Illinois at Chicago where he graduated with a Master's degree in Advanced/Graduate Dentistry and oral Sciences.
Upon graduation his passion to work with children led him to the University of Illinois at Chicago residency program where he obtained his Pediatric certification specializing in the oral care of children of all ages as well as special needs children cases. Dr.Garcia attends continuing education courses as he continues to learn and advance as a Pediatric dentist.
As an advocate for children’s overall health, Dr. Garcia believes in creating awareness about how a healthy mouth and diet matters to a child’s development and growth. His priority is establishing a positive, open line of communication with both the patients and parents.
Dr. Jimmy Stewart, was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. His journey in the field of dentistry began with his undergraduate education at the University of Missouri, where he majored in Biological Sciences and Spanish.
After completing his undergraduate studies, Dr. Stewart pursued dentistry at Nova Southeastern University. Following his dental school graduation he specialized in pediatric dentistry. Dr. Stewart completed his pediatric dental residency at NYU Langone in Brooklyn, NY. This program provided him with the specialized knowledge and training necessary to address the unique needs of children and special needs children.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Stewart has a deep love for sports. He is an avid fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, cheering for his team with great enthusiasm during football season. Additionally, he maintains a strong allegiance to his hometown team, the St. Louis Cardinals, and since moving down to South Florida he has developed fandom for the Miami Heat. Dr. Stewart loves the outdoors and spending time with his dog, Chico. He has made long walks by the beach a routine enjoying the beautiful surroundings.
Dr. Lyric was born and raised in sunny South Florida. After 17 years of living in Palm Beach County, she went on to complete a Bachelors in Science from Florida State University. During her time at FSU, Dr. Lyric had the opportunity of cheering on the Seminoles during their National Championship as a co-ed cheerleader! After enjoying many years in the sunshine state, Dr. Lyric transitioned to the snowy state of Maine, to complete her Doctorate in Dental Medicine at The University of New England. It was at UNE, she found her passion for children’s dentistry.
Dr. Lyric went on to complete her pediatric specialty training at the Denver Health Medical Center in Colorado. During her residency she trained on minimal and moderate sedation, treatment of patients with special health care needs, as well as treatment utilizing general anesthesia. In the 2 years she lived in Colorado, Dr. Lyric hiked a number of Colorado’s famous “14ers” as well as enjoyed snowboarding many mountains across the state. After many years of enjoying the snowy climates of Colorado and Maine, she is very excited to be back in South Florida, treating the children of the community she grew up in.
Dr. Lyric is committed to providing exceptional oral health care to children by creating a positive and comfortable environment that fosters trust and instills lifelong dental habits. She is full of energy and loves to be the biggest cheerleader for all her patients!
Dr. Darren Morgan hails from northern New Jersey. He is a proud alumnus of Hampton University, where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Rutgers University, where he received his Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences.
Following graduate school, Dr. Morgan attended dental school at Nova Southeastern University and was elected to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society for his academic achievements. He received his orthodontic training from the University Rochester, Eastman Institute for Oral Health which is often regarded as one of the top orthodontic programs in the nation.
Dr. Morgan is an American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) Board-Certified Orthodontist. He is also an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), where he has served as an AAO professional advocate to amplify the voice of the specialty of orthodontics to members of congress.
In his personal life, Dr. Morgan holds the stance that mentorship is essential and serves as a “Big Brother” mentor in the Big Brothers, Big Sisters of America program. In a similar way, he aims to create a family-friendly environment cultivated with an essence of positivity and unity. When he is not working, mentoring, or rooting for his favorite sports teams, Dr. Morgan enjoys hiking with his wife and dog, bike riding, playing basketball, and reading. He is excited to be back in south Florida and is looking forward to providing quality orthodontic treatment to our community!
